On the same trip to Columbus to see baby Oliver, we had a quick visit with some of Rachel Claire's China buddies...girls whose families were in our travel group to China: the Rosses and the Humberts...We love hanging out with these guys -- they are so relaxed and easy to be around. And after a few tentative moments (we hadn't seen them in a while) the kids played together wonderfully. It was especially cool to meet both families newest daughters, precious Storie and Emme. Wish we could see our travel group friends more often! It seems important to me to preserve those connections for Rachel Claire so that she will always know some people who were with her in her first few months of life.
