A visit with Aunt Rachel & cousins Alex & Ella

So after Rachel Claire had a lovely nap in the car to rest up after her Fair trip, we met up with Aunt Rachel and cousins Alex & Ella (after a wee bit of hotel confusion) and their nanny, Patricia, who is from Germany. We went to a park near Uncle Kurt & Aunt Mara's (and cousins Nicholas and Katie) house and played with everyone in the park for a while. Aunt Rachel even brought matching dresses for Ella and Rachel Claire which were adorable! For some reason, I seemed to take more photos of Ella, perhaps I'm used to taking photos of girls? But it certainly wasn't intentional...I think perhaps Alex is more "on the go" and not standing still for photos like Ella.

Later we had a carb-filled dinner at Noodles & Company and then we had to return home...oh well. But we'll get to see Aunt Rachel, Uncle Dave, Alex, Ella and Patricia after Christmas when we go out to Colorado for some winter fun and skiing!

Its kind of hard to get good photos of both Alex & Ella together, so when I got a few, I felt like I had to include them all -- even though they are just taking a water break!

Alex & Ella only drank chocolate milk for dinner....too much to look at and explore, which Rachel Claire can totally relate to!
