Ok, so I tried to cram too much into one day: a visit to the Fair and also a trip to Cincinnati to see Aunt Rachel and cousins Alex & Ella, but we had a great time nonetheless. We were joined, at the last minute, by Heather and Ava, and also my pal Anne who is the governor's liaison to the Fair, so she has all kinds of perks like a special fair shirt with her name embroidered on it (of course Anne is always a big proponent of having photos of me with Rachel Claire and wouldn't you know, when she was with me we didn't take any!). We went to Little Hands on the Farm, went to a tiger show, saw some farm animals, had a grilled cheese sandwich and some fried cheese at the Dairy Barn and rode the carousel -- what more could you ask for! It was an awesome time! Can't wait til the fair comes back next year!
