After we got back from Disney, we promptly drove up to Chicago to see Rachel Claire's cousins the Smiley Twins (Alex & Ella). We went to the Brookfield (?) Zoo with one of the Smiley's cousins. It was a beautiful day and the kids had fun hanging out together! Even though the Smileys live in Colorado, I really want them to be able to know each other so I try to find ways to hang out with them whenever I can. Rachel Claire was even wearing her zoo attire!
These were some cool wolves at the zoo, napping in the afternoon sun.
Then we had our annual pumpkin carving -- Rachel Claire does the yucky part of getting all of the seeds out, luckily she loves it! Then we went trick or treating with the Teeds and Hollis & Meredith stopped by for a fun pic!
