For Rachel Claire's 6th birthday party, I was trying to come up with something different and I suggested a cooking party...it took a little convincing but Rachel Claire finally agreed! We had the coolest party at Indy's Kitchen hosted by Kris Parmelee, chef extraordinaire! All of RC's bffs were able to come, including Andy Parmelee on whose actual birthday the party was held...so nice of his mom to work this party into their family's busy schedule. The kids had a great time decorating cupcakes and doing a few crafts...not sure how I'm going to top it next year...someday I want to have her birthday at Climb Time...not sure that will ever work out...
Must give credit to the awesome Anne Penny Valentine for these photos. For the second year in a row, APV has been my birthday party helper -- love that! Thanks Anne!
Aprons with each girl's name stenciled on...the "white" paint turned out clear...but sparkly!
At the beginning of the party, everyone got in a circle and introduced themselves...because, like her mom, Rachel Claire has friends from all different realms who don't all know each other!
Making the cupcakes in the giant mixer...some kids got to add ingredients and Rachel Claire got to turn the mixer on and off

Panda cupcakes, as our party colors were black and white
