5th Birthday Party @ Grandma's

We had the first of two birthday parties at Grandmas on October 4. Rachel Claire spent the weekend at Grandmas and I got to go scrapbooking with the girls. Just a few family members came to the party including cousins Emma & Max. The party's theme was apples and several apple crafts were completed including painting an apple tree on the goodie bags and creating apple dolls (and heads for Max) which was reminiscent of a doll Aunt Shelly made in childhood...sadly, Rachel Claire's apple doll didn't last as long as Shelly's probably because I'm too much of a slacker to store it correctly. It did look cool the day it was made though! We were also glad to have a visit from Grandpa Don and his new friend Robin....especially because they came early and helped the Grandmas get ready!
