Planting Pansy

Rachel Claire had a long play date with Alex Teed today (and no nap) so we had to keep things interesting at home to avoid meltdowns and accidentally falling asleep before bedtime. So we re-planted Pansy (the flower this time, not the dog) that Rachel Claire got at church on Easter at Grandma's. Amazingly I hadn't killed it since then...hopefully it will survive the repotting.

One funny thing that Rachel Claire has been saying lately is "actually". This happens when I say something like, "Oh look, there's a bird outside." To which Rachel Claire will say: "actually, Mom, that's a Robin." Like she is the supreme knower of all things! :-) Hmmm, wonder where that fits in with all of this attachment stuff that is supposed to remind her that I am the Mom/parent/in charge!
