playing with Lucy

It is so nice to have a friend your-own-age right next door who is also your school-mate. So we often take advantage of that and play with Lucy...which makes for a sisterly-kind of relationship...if you know what I mean.

We occasionally notice that Lucy's family has a dad (and a baby) and we don't. We definitely needed a dad the other day when we were trying to get the front tire pumped up of Rachel Claire's bike and it just wasn't working. It still isn't pumped up but luckily it works the way it is for now. I think it might be a bit weird to take the princess bike to the bike shop for that but it may come down to that!

This day was also noteworthy because Rachel Claire wanted to wear leggings and not a dress! And what's not shown in these photos (because a certain someone had a frowny face in the photos) was a trip to the Children's Museum to see Sleeping Beauty...which has some pretty scary characters in it for little kids!

Rachel Claire definitely loves her princess bike and her microphone!
