The next few photos are of RC dressed as a princess asleep on the couch yesterday afternoon, much to my relief, as I had stayed up too late the night before and was feeling under the weather due to lack of sleep and some other mysterious ailment that is causing unexplained nausea that comes in waves...and then there's the cold that started up today - ugh!
Meanwhile, when I was up for an hour or so after RC's bad dream last night I was thinking of all of the cute things she says these days so that I could record them in the blog...but of course I dind't write them down so I can't really remember them right now.
One I can remember is the word for breakfast: breapass (emphasis on the p). She's also taken to telling me she loves me a lot of times during the day and that she'll miss me when she goes to Tina's or when I leave for a meeting or something - you gotta love that!
So Rachel Claire has been taking to wearing her princess outfit, complete with purple high heel dress up shoes that I got at the used clothes store for $1.50...they are purple and about 2 sizes too big for her. She comes home and takes off her tights so that she can wear them since they have to go between her toes.
Meanwhile, you're wondering, what possessed you to go to the zoo in the dead of winter!?!?? Well, that crossed my mind too...but on Saturday at lunch when Rachel Claire said: where are we going today, I couldn't think of anywhere else we could go (she vetoed shopping...). It was actually sunny and nice out, and we went to lots of the indoor places like Oceans, the Desert and the Dolphin Show (which until it started, Rachel Claire wanted to leave because she didn't like it, and then when it was over, she wanted to go again, right away!). Meanwhile, when we left the zoo, Rachel Claire fell asleep before we even left the parking lot, which allowed me to drive way up to Castleton to United Art & Education and stop for my 2nd Starbucks of the day - how fun!
