Blogging wasteland

Well it is officially a winter wasteland here at our house...blogging has taken a serious back seat to everything else, which is mostly eating and watching Princess movies ~ ugh! There have been a few chores getting done, and once you get on a roll, its hard to stop! So sorry all of you loyal blog readers, I've been a total slacker!!! But stay tuned, the month of February has opportunites galore for photo taking!! Its will be Chinese New Year on February 7 and there are lots of opportunites to party.

Speaking of parties, some of the China buddies got together at LeeLoo's house a few weeks ago for our holiday get together (in January). Rachel Claire slept through most of it and was grouchy for most of the rest of the time, but I got to watch some playoff football with the guys while she was crashed out on my lap....

Speaking of chores, I undertook a major toy/clothes sort/organize/culling project over the holiday weekend last week. It was very cathartic. And I got rid of some stuff and got some new stuff (most notably RC's new princess movie, her favorite thing in the world right now). You can see before (when the toys had taken over the house) and after photos below.

And finally some photos of gymnastics. With RC's cute ponytails and a new leotard. Although it is hard to take good photos of trampoline activity with my limited camera...oh well, someday I'll save up enough for a good one! Later I was informed that "you can't wear ponytails with pants." :-) Good thing we got them in before she realized she had pants on that day. We are in laundry doldrums with Rachel Claire because all of the dresses and skirts are dirty ~ although there are at least 7 clean outfits (all pants, much to RC's chagrin). I am trying to get the laundry done this week because the weekend is a whirlwind of activity including hopefully a playdate with our friends the Klikas.

Look how cute Kale and Jayden look!!! All dressed up for a birthday party.

Jill-

Can I hire you to come do a toy clean-up/overhaul at our temporary house in Misosuri?

Also, I cannot believe how long RC's hair is getting. It is beautiful.
