All Grown Up

There really isn't too much new to report lately but I'll see if I can rustle up a few things.

One day about 10 days ago, Rachel Claire came home from Tina's (daycare) and just seemed all grown up! Speaking in long sentences and having long conversations with me.

And today on a whim I put big girl underwear on and Rachel Claire did great with it. I think she was using her pull-ups for convenience (as was I). We'll see how we do with going to the bathroom in public places, which I can already see will be a challenge (because she won't do it).

I'm kind of sad today about two things...one is the loss by the Colts to the Chargers today and the other is the loss of our Panda School teacher from last semester. I'm also kind of sad about the lack of naps in our life, but I think if we get a big girl bed and mandate some quiet time in her room, perhaps I can re-gain my sanity.

I had to work yesterday and with a challenging day today, I'm not feeling at all rested and ready to return to work tomorrow. Good thing next weekend is a three day weekend!
