We had a great day on Saturday with gymnastics and the Autumn Moon Festival with many of our friends. It was a wonderful relaxing evening for the parents and kids. The weather was awesome too. The idea behind the Autumn Moon Festival is to think about those close to you who aren't with you and know that they are looking at the same moon you are even though they are far away. It is a particularly poignant moment for adoptive families to think about birth families and wonder about them.
One funny thing Rachel Claire has been saying is hipcups instead of hiccups...she also has a funny way of saying helicopter that sounds similar to hipcups (too many ps) but I can't quite remember it now.
I went to see Our Town last week at the Indiana Repertory Theatre...it was awesome as all of their productions are. I had never read or seen it (even though it is a classic) and although it was a bit long, it was a good, reflective evening. I often regret not having read more of the "classics" and attending the IRT has helped me conquer several of them that I would not have read otherwise.
