The way the seal looks in the last picture of this post is kind of how I feel right now....discouraged about my job search even though I have a lot bubbling and several interviews on the horizon. It seems that the job I want the very most in the world right now is not seemingly likely and although I haven't gotten dinged yet, I am trying to resign myself to not getting it. I know its not the end of the world and there are definitely other jobs that I am very interested in that are still in the hopper but this one seemed so right. Oh well. And sometimes, even when you get dinged for a job you don't really want, it can be hard on the old self-confidence (which for me isn't feeling all that robust right about now).
So, the photos will have to speak for themselves tonight. Although I must say, our day at the zoo when these photos were taken (Labor Day weekend) was glorious. The weather was lovely and the animals were frisky and awake
Meanwhile, we had two close calls...Carson getting out - ugh, and Rachel Claire locking me (accidentally) out of the house - luckily I have a key hidden outside.
