Weekend with Travel Buddies: Saturday

Saturday, July 28 - the FTIA picnic and an evening at Josie's house. We headed up to the picnic after gymnastics. Its good to get there early because its kind of crowded (chaos at times...). We ran into most of the people we expected to see including our travel group, LeeLoo and her travel buddy Sadie and also fellow single mom, Michelle and Anna. It was actually a bit less crowded than usual, perhaps due to a cloudy day. We had a great time at the playground and on the carousel.

After our nap, we headed up to Josie's for dinner and more chatting with our travel buddies (and swimming for some of us!). I figured that since Julie & Christina played with the girls in the pool on Friday night, it was my turn to do it Saturday....although no other adults felt the need to join me! Could it have been because the heater in the Wise pool hadn't been on enough lately!?!?!? It was kind of chilly, even in the hot tub! And I was exhausted by entertaining 5 energetic girls who all wanted to jump on me at the same time. I thought we went home late (10 pm) but some diehards stayed up until midnight or later! Its always fun and relaxing at the Wise home.
