Talent?

Some of you know how much Rachel Claire is noticed and charmed by people everywhere we go...and of course I think she's the cutest kid in the world! So after chatting with my pal Kathi, who has an agent, I decided to contact a talent agency in Cincinnati to see if they would be interested in Rachel Claire. There isn't much work in Indy for kids but apparently there is in Cincinnati, where Grandma lives and we visit often. So we're off to meet the talent agency on Thursday to see what they tell us. They've already gushed a bit over the lovely photos taken by our pal Anne at Fotowonder, so we'll see how they like the small fry in person (although she'll probably be tired and clingy after a drive to Cincy at naptime). Hopefully this will help bolster the college fund! More news later.

This first 2 photos are of Rachel Claire modeling her lovely new sundress from Heather Z., which is RC's current favorite outfit. I did a load of laundry so that Rachel Claire would continue to have dresses to wear, which is her current favorite. You wouldn't have caught me dead in dresses as a kid (ok, maybe I don't remember being 2.8).

Ok, I know I've said that this stay at home mom thing isn't for me full time....I'd have to be independently wealthy to do it anyway...but tonight after Rachel Claire woke up from her nap, we had an oustanding evening! We went shopping and RC was a trooper! We went to 3 stores and I browsed slowly (not intentionally) at each one and she was great! We chatted and giggled and got RC some underwear for the day when she decides to need/use those, some new jammies and a few other goodies at Walmart (like a bubble squirt gun). She was good natured and singing in the car and it was all around great fun. Its so nice to have a moment like that and I really try to savor each one of those!
