BRRRRRRRRRR!

Well let's see if I can find some chatty things to say today. The first few photos are of Rachel Claire's newest skill...sommersaults (sp?). She loves to do them and will even think of doing them on some hard surface (tile floor) until I discourage her. So hopefully we are going to get her signed up for a gymnastics class to make use of some of that energy, flexibility and fearlessness.

Its still mighty cold here in Indianapolis, I'm pretty tired of wearing long johns every day, I don't have that many pairs and I don't want to do laundry!! Of course Rachel Claire still doesn't want to wear a coat...some brazen woman today at the post office chastised me for not having a coat on her...what makes perfect strangers feel like they can make a judgment about your life!?!!?

The job search seems to be moving along nicely, hopefully it will be a good change for me.

There's also a photo here of Carson's square bald spot on his back hip. His sore healed nicely with antibiotic and spray, so now he just had a bald square. He doesn't seem to care and he's also perfectly happy to roll around in the snow and cold!

Speaking of snow, we had a big batch this week, so we broke out Rachel Claire's snow suit and went out to play in it (and shovel a bit). By the time I was done shoveling, Rachel Claire was ready to come in, so it worked out nicely.

We're having a "don't want to sleep" day/night here today. RC didn't sleep well at all last night, and of course becuase its the weekend, she was up early...I left her in her room for a while, so she proceeded to continue to demolish her mini-blinds...which is better than destroying the lovely curtains that Colleen made for us. Then when we got home from our Children's Museum class (after falling asleep in the car moments from home), Rachel Claire stayed awake in her crib for at least an hour and who knows if it was longer...ugh! Oh well, I'm sure Monday and Tuesday, Rachel Claire will want to sleep late.....as usual. :-(
