So at St. Richard's there are two Kindergarten plays that are not to be missed....the Nativity Play and Mother's Day Bunny. Somehow, I managed to avoid seeing Mother's Day Bunny in the 8 years that I worked there. So I had no idea what it meant when Mrs. Quillin told me that Rachel Claire would be Mother Cottontail.
Needless to say, RC was a great Mrs. Cottontail -- memorized all of her lines long before the show -- and looked adorable in the dress. And how lucky that she got to be Mrs. Cottontail so she could wear a dress instead of the sweatsuit everyone else had to wear. :-) It was a really cute play and I didn't even get too teary! Jeff Sparks joined us which was really sweet. Stefan Boes was Grandfather Bunny and did a great job!
