We were supposed to go to the spash park but alas, it was raining, so the girls just played inside instead. Finney Chu organized a parade after Josie Wise decided it would be a good idea to make tambourines with paper plates & dry pasta. There was lots of dress up going on and later just plain old jumping around on the couch in the basement. Finally there were a few bubbles on the back porch.
Amidst all of the playing was some chatting by the grownups and a sumptious feast complete with blueberry martinis and some other red fruity drink that Robin made. Shannon was the grill master extrordinaire! We did manage to capture a red couch photo too!
As the photographer of record...I tried to get photos of everyone...but for some reason, some kids just always seem to avoid the camera! :-( If anyone has any photos they want to send me, I'd love to add them to my collection!
