Field Trip to the Apple Orchard

Rachel Claire went on her first field trip with school on Tuesday, to Anderson's Apple Orchard. She got to ride the bus which was fun but a little bit scary (for her). I went along as a chaperone and our buddy to hang out with for the day was Alyssa. It was a fun trip although I can see how Rachel Claire might do better without me there....it was Brooke's birthday so we got to have cookies as our snack and sing Happy Birthday to her while we were there.

All the kids in the class wear little St. Richard's t-shirts so that they don't get lost when they are on these field trips. And Rachel Claire is still in her "I don't want to smile for the camera most of the time" mode...but there is an adorable photo of her with her current best friend Andy when they are eating snack and laughing together!
