Getting ready for school!

We went to the sneak peek at St. Richard's on August 19 to help the kids get acclimated to school. Since it didn't start until 9 am, we got to sleep in! Rachel Claire posed by her lego castle with her pretty dress on before we went.

While we were there, Rachel Claire was a trooper. She played with things in the classroom, tried to help Lucy feel at home and was very attentive and participatory during the story session. She wanted to tell Mrs. Guess that she had received a photo of her in the mail over the summer and also that she had some tatoos too! She was definitely not a shrinking violet. I was surprised about how outgoing she was but also glad about that. I think most of the time Rachel Claire feels comfortable at St. Richard's because she has been there a lot but occasionally she gets overwhelmed by the fact that many people know her and she doesn't necessarily know them.

Rachel Claire also had a great time playing on the PreK3 playground and can actually reach the pedals on the trikes! And finally there's a photo of the beloved Mrs. Guess, an amazing teacher.
