The entire month of November

Just a few chuckles today.

Earlier this week I traveled to Chicago for a business trip. I told Rachel Claire that I would bring her a present and for some reason she wanted a blue one. Well, I ended up getting her some Frango mints (mmmm) from Macy's (formerly Marshall Fields) and they came in a green box. When I got home I told her I had brought her a present and I said that it wasn't blue. She immediately said, is it green?????? Weird. So, meanwhile, I gave her a mint and told her it was a chocolate mint and that she could have one each day. Yesterday, after she had eaten one, she demandingly said: "I want more chocolate mittens!"

The other theme lately has been beards (a la Santa). In the tub the other day, Rachel Claire put some soap on her chin to give herself a beard. And then over the weekend, she took an aqua post-it note tab (not a full post-it note, but one of those tabs you put on a page to mark it) and put it on her chin as a beard! It was quite amusing

Here are the photos we have for the entire month of November. I need to get cracking, because I have no pictures in the queue to post on the blog. But I'm sure we'll come up with something during this holiday season. We had a lovely snowfall last night and Rachel Claire and I are looking forward to playing in it a bit tonight and hopefully our pal Heather who is coming over for dinner will join us in the fun!

There's kind of a long, unfortunate story about Rachel Claire getting hit in the head with the vacuum (accidentally). Needless to say, she (and the vacuum) are fine!

I just thought this outfit was so complimentary to the leaf colors that we had to get out and take some photos!

Our first Christmas tree together - which we got the Tuesday before Thanksgiving! It is a lovely Fraser fir and smells delicious...I just need to remember to water it. I'll post more photos of it now that it is decorated
