Yippee!

To continue in the lucky theme, I am excited to announce that I now have a new job!!

There are still some details to be worked out (like start date) but I have accepted an offer to be the Manager/Chief Operating Officer of the Normal Tissue/Biospecimen Bank at the IU Simon Cancer Center (soon to be called the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tissue Bank at the IU Simon Cancer Center). Its a bank of breast tissue and blood samples to be collected to help with breast cancer research. You can read more about it here:

I'm sure I'll have more specifics soon like new contact info, etc. Thanks so much to everyone who listened to the search saga, gave me tips, contacts and encouragement and provided support. I am thrilled and relieved. Getting this opportunity has made the past year's job turmoil a distant memory. It was hard to believe it during the search but this reinforces to me that everything happens for a reason.
