Yep

Greetings loyal readers. One of Rachel Claire's favorite words right now is: yep! She says it in response to most things that merit a positive response. Its one of those things that is really cute at first....another funny thing she's done lately is when she's playing with her Diego Radio that is kind of shaped like a cell phone. She'll put it up to her ear and say: Hi Diego, its me! It is so cute!

As many of you know, Rachel Claire is very outgoing (most of the time)...she'll say hi and bye to everyone we see (even in the Starbucks drive through!) and also is good about introducing herself (and me) to people we meet in our travels. The only problem is, when she says, I'm Rachel Claire, she's still not very good at saying her own name and people have no idea what she's saying! I'm trying to give her positive feedback about being so friendly though...although yesterday she was a bit too friendly when the unsolicited Hoosier Environmental Council canvasser came to the door asking for $ and my signature - ugh!

Here are a few photos from last weekend when we didn't use our car for the whole day on Sunday (a la Kathi Ridley). We rode bikes to the Children's Museum in the morning and to the pool in the afternoon (and we would have gone to the Fever game in the evening but it was just a bit too much for small people to handle). I'm dreading going to the gas station this weekend, but we can't really ride bikes to visit Shari & her family in Zionsville....or to gymnastics at 96th & I-69 - oh well!

Going on a bike ride - one of our favorite activities!

Rachel Claire's current favorite thing to play on at the Children's Musuem (besides the carousel), this house has steep "steps" that you can climb up

Reading a big book!

Listening to some rhymes told by Mother Goose

We're making a bit of progress on the swimming scene...we joined our neighbors the Chandlers at our neighborhood pool at 20th & Park.

Before (above) and after (below) getting a fat lip by falling onto the coffee table....

One fun evening at the Teeds

I'm inclined to take lots of photos on days when Rachel Claire is wearing a really cute outfit I like. I want to have a skirt like this (with flowery under-shorts) in my size!
