What's That?

This weekend, we had a couple of activities planned for Saturday....the first one was a class about Boats, Trains and Planes at the Children's Museum. We ran into our neighbor Elisabeth and her dad Jon in class. We went to the earlier class (10 am v. 11:30) which made a huge difference in RC's tiredness level and ability to concentrate. She made some fun artwork and her favorite was a plane on a stick that she could "fly" around. She even got it out again today (Sunday) to fly around.

Then we went upstairs to ride the carousel and play in the playhouses. We happened to be there when a little boy (about 5 yo) got a big gash on his forehead and was gushing blood...his mom was relatively calm, because she was a doctor, although she immediately started talking about having to go suture it up since it seemed to be so deep - ugh! It was quite a scene!

Today's blog post is: What's that? One of Rachel Claire's new favorite phrases. She says it about everything, even things she knows what they are...so I say back to her: what do you think it is? And she usually knows. It can be somewhat trying...ok, I'm off to listen to the Indianapolis 500 since its not on tv here....I hope its a good one!
