A Daytrip to Visit the Grandmas

Since Grandma had her knee replaced last month, we really haven't been to see the Grandmas and Rachel Claire and Grandma were really missing each other. So we took a road trip last Sunday to visit Grandma and Grandma Carol (and the cousins, dogs, etc.). It went pretty well except that Rachel Claire didn't want to go to sleep on the way home (we left at 7:30 pm and she finally conked out at 9 pm....).

I'm still fighting the clogged ear, although with antiobiotics now....hopefully it will hit the road sometime soon.

I'm exhausted and can't wait to go to bed (its 8:15 pm) so I can't think too clearly about any Rachel Claire-isms right now. I'm excited to watch lots of basketball and although Rachel Claire can say the word basketball, she really doesn't want to give up Blues Clues to basketball on the tv right now. :-(
