Chinese New Year - The Year of the Pig

Happy New Year everyone! Chinese New Year that is...I don't know exactly what year it is, something like 4 thousand and some change....and its the year of the pig! That's kind of what it feels like already....

Meanwhile, Rachel Claire got dressed up in her cute little outfit that Heather Shepard's mom made her and we went off to see many many China buddies at the Chinese New Year celebration put on by the Families with Children from China, Indiana chapter.

It was great to see some people we haven't seen in a while, Josie and Anna, and some new friends, including Leo (who unfortunately was on the move a bit and I didn't get to capture his cute little face in a picture).

It was a great night and a great distraction. Rachel Claire was non-stop, I could hardly get a picture of her she was moving all over the place. But she did keep her cute little jacket on even though she was boiling hot. We took two rides on the carousel and went to see Clifford the Big Red Dog. And check out RC's cute little pig earrings that Josie's parents brought her from Shanghai!

Here's little Anna, just one on the carousel
